A one-room schoolhouse used continuously for Grades 1-8 from 1850-1960.  Located on the grounds next to the Surgeons' Quarters. The school was moved to the grounds in 1960.  It was restored and furnished with desks and textbooks representing its 110 years of use.  Mannequins dressed for the period 1850-1860 were donated by the Benjamin Tallmadge Chapter DAR of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
